Kids Yoga App Series – #1. Adult Help Symbol in DVD/App

This post is the first part of a series #SSYappSeries…

Some of us want to jump in head first whenever we begin something new. We don’t tiptoe. We dive!  So, we thought we would help parents out a bit within our Sing Song Yoga kids yoga app and DVD, by developing an “Adult Help” symbol. This icon pops up for a few of the more challenging poses within the video to let kids know to find an adult to help — if they are new to this kids yoga program.

Of course, some children will need encouragement to try these more difficult poses, but this symbol can help with our dive-right-in kind of kiddos!

Here’s a 12-second clip of Nicholas explaining this symbol. It can also be found within our Guidelines Video under the Information button within the Sing Song Yoga App or on the DVD.

We have a free version of the Sing Song Yoga kids yoga app available in the App store. This allows families to try it out first to see if our app is a good fit for their family before making any purchases to expand its use.

Please let us know any questions you might have on Facebook or Twitter, using #SSYappSeries. We look forward to hearing from you!! Happy Yoga!!
